Just stop and THINK Scotland!

Posted in Politics by earthlinggb on September 8, 2014

That is ALL I’m asking you to do!

And I’m doing so because I have a VERY grave fear that something terrible is about to happen! I despise the Westminster government and I’m Scottish. I also, however, despise the man Salmond and his government because they are ALL part of the same group. Sure they are “fighting” this out but it is ALL a show for your benefit!

Think of some thing such as:

1. Northern Ireland

“What?? Northern Ireland?? What are you going on about you idiot?”

Ok so that’s what some of you are saying, but THINK. Just for a moment. Let it seep into your brain and consider something VERY strange!

WHY did the British Army spend decades in Northern Ireland? WHY?

Well, it was to ensure that Northern Ireland remained part of the union. And yet, just as there is the “Yes” camp and the “No” camp in Scotland right now, the powers that be have literally handed you independence and the splitting of that union on a plate! And Scotland is a MUCH bigger loss that N. Ireland I’m sure you would agree?

So, once more, think: WHY, after all those decades protecting the union in N. Ireland, would they do this?

Why is the British Army not in Scotland right now protecting the union? Why did the UK/Westminster government even start the devolution road? Why did they allow it to come to this? WHEN did it start? Well it all started essentially at the same time as the EEC (which was sold to the entire UK as a lie about sovereignty). It was mid 1970s that we had that referendum (filled with lies AND funded by the CIA – documented fact!).

2. The EU, Germany and France

Who gains big time out of Scotland being “independent”? (and you’re not going to be by the way but I’ve covered that elsewhere). Well the EU does! This strong competitor of GERMANY and France will no longer exist! Germany will be BY FAR the largest economy in the EU, France next and then – no UK remember – will it be England? Probably but with far less clout. Scotland will have next to zero clout either. You are being led by the tail by Alex Salmond.

THIS IS THE EQUIVALENT OF AN IPO (Initial Public Offering) OF A NATION. This is NOT “Independence”.

3. Head of State

Once more, why have you, the people of Scotland, not had any serious debates regarding WHO will be your Head of State?

WHY? BECAUSE YOU HAVE NO CHOICE! Salmond has no choice either! It is the CROWN who owns the seabed, the minerals and the OIL! The OIL DOES NOT BELONG TO SCOTLAND OR ENGLAND. IT BELONGS TO THE CROWN!

NOW I DARE YOU! DEMAND, IN THE NEXT 10 DAYS, THAT YOU GET RID OF HER MAJESTY AS YOUR HEAD OF STATE!

THAT would be INDEPENDENCE (Sovereignty)

And then, tell Salmond to screw his ideas of keeping the British pound OR even introducing a new Scottish “sovereign” currency. Demand that the Scottish government gives YOU, the Scottish people, the power to research, understand and debate what is known as MPE (Mathematically Perfected Economy). IF you were to, then the following would not even be of a concern AND you would be truly sovereign and independent. But then, if you were, watch out for the NATO bombs!!

Yes and mortgages

4. Sectarianism

I’ve been hearing (even from family members) how there is a great deal of bad blood over the border between the two camps! They are even dividing a nation! There is vandalism toward those saying “Better Together” and it is reported widely. You will end up with sectarianism and a divided country. It COULD even become a Northern Ireland! But then the powers that be and the EU will just LOVE that! By GOD you’re voting yourselves into a trap! Look at what is happening even BEFORE the vote! What comes after? What kind of government (either side of the border) is it which is quite happily walking into a situation where it has to govern a divided country? Well it’s the kind of government that just doesn’t give a shit about what actually happens to you on the streets as a nation. In fact, if all hell breaks out they’ll love having to bring in peace keeping forces of one form or another. It’ll be Tony Blair’s “Big Brother” state on steroids!

Yet all of you – Yes or NO voters – are ALLOWING yourselves to be put in a position where, when you SHOULD be coming together, THEY are splitting you apart! PERFEKT RODNEY!!!

5. Mortgage Meltdown

So what happens if the above DOES happen re mortgages (and that article is a valid issue which Salmond hasn’t even touched on – he’ll just say something sarky as he always does, the sinister little git)?

THOUSANDS of people in negative equity. Thousands losing their homes or needing to sell for pennies on the pound. And who buys it all up for pennies on the pound? You guessed it! The bankers. Greece Part 2!

6. Scotland’s oil

Shut up and stop being so wilfully bloody ignorant when the answer to THAT canard is put in front of you (as I have done time and again!!):

The OIL belongs to the CROWN!. It belongs neither to Scotland not England!! You, the Scottish people, will NOT EVER benefit from it! It’s like saying you will benefit from having the RBS. Do you? Did you? Oh just stop talking shit people please!! It’s embarrassing! You are So naive it’s painful!

queen-oil

LOOK IT UP!!! UK PARLIAMENTARY ARCHIVES!! STOP BEING SO BLOODY LAZY! NO WONDER THEY’RE GONNA HAVE YOU OVER A BARREL  (no pun intended!).

The OIL DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It belongs to the Crown!!!! Don’t you get it??? – NO you bloody well don’t and never will!!

YOU NEVER INSTIGATED ANY OF THIS! THE EXISTING OWNERS OF THIS COUNTRY DID AND YOU ARE BEING HAD!

So I take it that you think it might not be such a good idea.

I’m feeling particularly thick-headed today and am not trying to be deliberately obtuse.

I was watching the TV round my folks house and they were saying that everyone was worried that this was going to go ahead (the politicians), yet the polls showed a minority not a majority, so I suppose they were talking about it not going ahead. I really am very confused. It’s a double negative mindfuck. Yes. No. But Yes or No for what?

Don’t mind me, I never was the sharpest tool in the box, and I am feeling pretty vacant anyway these last days.

I was chatting with someone whose views and politics I generally respect and admire and he seemed to think it was a good thing (that is Scotland becoming ‘independent’). I don’t know. You make a good point about the oil and whatnot. It’s not like Lizard Lizzy is going to just hand it all over is it? And what else do you have?

I’m from Wales, and if you ask the average bumbkin there to vote for ‘independence’, a worrying large amount would, with no forethought or consideration. National Pride is a bad thing. Yes, there are many reasons to not like the English very much. But just because they are ‘other’ is just another form of xenophobia, which we all know the English are the world leaders in. That makes us worse than them. So yes, fucking think. Get informed.

I might be wrong, but Wales is already a shithole, and if you made it ‘independent’ that would just be an excuse for the English to throw us to the wolves. When I say ‘us’…

You brought up NI. I was thinking about this. What next? Wales? Nah. NI? Nah. Surely not. Cornwall?

This whole thing is opening up a can of worms, but like most events happening today, in a few years time many will have learnt how the law of unintended consequences works.

I would research it. I do care. But I just don’t know where to get my information anymore. The whole of the ‘alternative media’ has become a clusterfuck of in-fighting and bitching. I don’t have enough time to pursue other means. Oh well, I guess if I cared enough, I could. But just goes to show there is no quick fix or light lunch on these matters.

I am just rambling. I’ll shut up now. These were just some things I typed off the cuff. Good to see you around earthlinggb. I hope you are well. I can see your old noggin is still ticking over 20 to the dozen. And that gives me heart.

This charade will be over in a few days. And then, everyone will have to get to sorting it out. And like you say, it’s not all plain sailing. Depending on the outcome, some others might start getting some funny ideas.

    Interesting times? Yes we can!

Any suggestion that the Queen would wish to influence the Scottish referendum campaign is “categorically wrong”, Buckingham Palace says.

    Oh. Fucking really?

And from where might this mythical ‘suggestion’ come? Care to say, oh great BBC?

No, thought not. Just more fucking proper Ganja.

Now, I don’t know which way is right, but I bet old Lizard Lizzy does. I think, if it went one way she would be quite happy, if another, she might be quite upset. Fucked if I know, I’m not the lizard queen of england.

    Who knows eh?

No she had no interest there either did she? lol

Very interesting. Lots of stuff to get through. Maybe I can skim it later and get the gist.

That’s the easy part. Getting the good leads is the difficult bit.

I bookmarked it and shall share it around my very small circle.

They won’t allow an in/out referendum on Europe but they will on Scotland. In fact Cameron insisted that it be in/out. That tells you all you need to know.
If they don’t get the result they want just watch them try again untill they do.
Satanic scum the lot of them!

Nail on the head Earthling. I am amazed, and dispirited, by the depth of ignorance about these matters by the Yes campaigners.

They just do not understand how the Crown operates. They seem to think that it is a benign figurehead with no real power.

Ditto the Bank of England as their central bank. Surely the name is a big clue? Yet they seem happy to depend on the pound as their currency.

Independence on these terms? You’re avin a laugh.

And welcome back. Great to see that you’ve restored the archive. What changed your mind about that?

    • earthlinggb said, on September 13, 2014 at 3:54 pm

Thanks Pete. I’m not really “back” however as I just don’t have the time now. The blogs will be very infrequent. Plus I haven’t restored the full archive yet but will get around to it. I just felt it needed to be out there and I’ll take the consequences whatever happens.

I wonder how the author of this blog is feeling now that the referendum is over and he got the result he wanted mainly because of the deceit and scaremongering of the British establishment and whole of the media save one Sunday paper.

Full independence is something which has to be achieved in stages and as many campaigners have said when I raised the question of the monarchy and other issues, it is one step at a time. For many, going the extra distance may have cost more votes and given the establishment and media even more ammunition but you think you know everything as has been apparent reading your blog over the past few months. Now the independence movement has to start again a bit further back than before no thanks to idiotic thinking like yours. If you were actually in Scotland rather than ‘assimilating’ yourself within a population which is conditioned to soak up the establishment propaganda, you would have a feel for what is actually going on north of the border. I’m sure you have an answer for everything and no doubt that includes the widespread allegations of vote fraud which may have contributed to your favoured result. Well done. Join George Galloway in the gallery of quislings and traitors. In the past, you would have been one of the Glasgow bailiffs drafted in to evict crofters for the benefit of the aristocracy.

I don’t expect you to approve this message, it is intended for your eyes to digest. You may be able to tickle the bellies of your followers here but that is all you are capable of doing.

    • earthlinggb said, on October 12, 2014 at 1:40 am

Helen, “the author” of this blog doesn’t feel anything regarding the vote (and wouldn’t have either way). Neither did he get the result he wanted because, in actual fact, the status quo OR the “independence” would change nothing. That is NOT what this blog is about – taking a side. And George Galloway is no “friend” of mine while neither am I a quisling nor a traitor. How can one be a traitor of a piece of ground with little squiggly lines drawn on a map to demarcate it from an inch of ground on the other side of the line? How can one be a traitor when one does not recognise borders and thinks of themselves as an Earthling? Neither am I “assimilating myself” to a population. I’m an individual – period. Perhaps that is something you may wish to consider yourself as being rather than falling for the easily manipulable ideology of being part of a “tribe”. Be a human before being a scot. But I guess, from what you say, that penny will never drop.
There is obviously a vast number of people on the “Scottish” side of that border that are conditioned also otherwise, from your perspective, the vote would have been “Yes” (even IF we consider the very real possibility it was rigged). There are just as many (if not more due to the size of population) “English” people who are not “conditioned” as there are “Scots”.
I suggest you consider things a little deeper and wider. You don’t seem to have grasped a lot of what I was saying here. After all, you have not discussed any of it but, no surprise, just wished to rant.
As for the bellies of other readers, I have never asked them if they’re ticklish. I think it would be rather odd to do so.
